SRLC on global mission creating a local impact

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Long Island center of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care USA (SRLC), a global non-profit organization, providing 360-degree relief and operating through 24 centers across the USA donated 2,000 protective masks to the Huntington community to be distributed by St. Hugh of Lincoln Roman Catholic Church. 

This event was attended by Town of Huntington Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci, Pastor Robert Smith, and Dan Diviney of Project Hope. 

In support of the front-line heroes in the township, SRLC had previously donated thousands of protective masks to local nursing homes and first responders, as well as provided meals and snacks. Donated 53,000 pounds of food to those in need through Community Solidarity. Prior events were attended by Town of Huntington Councilman Mark Cuthbertson and Town Clerk Andrew Raia.  

Over 2,000 volunteers of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care are actively working across 50 cities in 5 continents globally, including the United States, Asia, Europe, Australia, and Africa, each one distinctly catering to each community’s personal needs amidst this crisis. 

In response to the crisis, SRLC has launched several initiatives to help migrant workers, daily wagers, health care workers and policemen.

SRLC has organized a charity event, “We Love We Care” to raise awareness and funds for COVID-19 relief on Sunday, June 14th at 5 PM PST for a musical evening featuring renowned artists, Kailash Kher, Sachin Sanghavi and Kabir Cafe. The event will air on TV Asia channel and will be streamed live on SRLC USA Facebook page.
